Vacancy Details
A total of 572 vacancies have been announced across various RBI offices including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur & Lucknow, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Patna.
Vacancies are distributed among SC, ST, OBC, EWS and General categories, along with reservation for PwBD and Ex-Servicemen.
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
The candidate must be:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee (before 01 January 1962), or
- A person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries.
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
Age relaxation is applicable as per Government rules:
- SC/ST – 5 years
- OBC – 3 years
- PwBD – up to 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen – as per rules
Educational Qualification
- Candidate must have passed 10th Standard (SSC/Matriculation) from a recognized board.
- Graduates and higher qualified candidates are NOT eligible.
- Candidate must be an undergraduate as on 01 January 2026.
- Knowledge of local language of the applied State/UT is mandatory.

2. Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
Candidates shortlisted from the online test must qualify the Language Proficiency Test in the local language of the State/UT. LPT is qualifying in nature.
Salary & Pay Scale
Pay Scale: ₹24,250 – ₹53,550
Approx. Gross Salary: ₹46,000 per month
